weak end

I have not gone gently, but whimpering in to this good week.

Man I whooped my hind quarters on a nice bike ride with bolsinga yesterday. we did the fairfax/olema/bolinas/fairfax loop and I am paying for it.

Here's a link to the biggest climb. I calculate it as about only a 4% grade, but it sure feels like a lot more than that when you're half way through a 50 odd mile ride. My guess is it's probably more like 4.5% for the majority of the climb; it levels out a bit for the beginning and end.

In case you're wondering (am I know I am) the gears were approximately 42X24 (from memory) for a wow, was it really that low 47 gear inches. Not sure what Greg was pushing but it was close (as evidenced by the large amount of profanity on the uphills)
