Robert F. Cat
Yesterday, in addition to about 10 lbs of chanterelles and about a tonne of beautiful scenery, we harvested a nice experience:
some face time with a bobcat. i've never experienced a big cat in the wild that really just didn't care about humans. we must have been about 75-100 feet from this cat - it just stared at us, with absolutely no concern. after about 5 minutes we continued on our way. sadly all I had was a crappy point and shoot as it was raining and mary didn't bring out her SLR.
